Andre Luiten
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & DIRECTORAndre is CEO and Co-Founder of QuantX Labs, leading development of sovereign photonics and precision sensing technologies. Formerly head of Australia’s leading photonics institute at Adelaide University, he raised $50M+ in research funding, is the recipient of numerous national and international awards and is a Fellow of the AIP and ATSE.
Martin O'Connor
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER & DIRECTORMartin is the COO and Co-Founder of QuantX Labs, bringing 30 years’ experience in optical imaging and laser systems across defence, industry and research. He leads company operations, strategic partnerships, and commercial growth, overseeing business development, stakeholder engagement and the delivery of advanced technology programs across space and defence sectors.
Kara Redding
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER & COMPANY SECRETARYAs CFO, Kara leads finance and capital strategy to support the growth and commercial scale-up of QuantX Labs. She brings experience across investment and high-growth technology businesses, helping build the financial and operational foundations required to transition advanced technologies into globally scalable products.
Sebastian Ng
DIRECTOR OF PRODUCTDr. Sebastian Ng is Director of Product at QuantX Labs, leading sovereign precision timing initiatives including the Kairos-1 Mission and optical atomic clock technologies. Formerly at Adelaide University, he advanced quantum technologies, authored 60+ papers and developed commercial laser systems for defence, agriculture and manufacturing.
James Barr
DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERINGJames leads our engineering teams, translating prototypes into ruggedised products and drawing on defence engineering leadership to industrialise quantum clocks and sensors for deployment across surveillance, communications and space environments.
Kim Scott
CHAIR & INDEPENDENT DIRECTORAs Chair and Non-Executive Director, Kim brings decades of defence-industry leadership, strategy execution, engagement, governance and advisory experience as QuantX scales its sovereign capability and global partnerships across defence, space and critical infrastructure.

Systems Engineer
AdelaideWe are seeking Systems Engineers at multiple levels to join our growing Engineering team. This role plays a key part in the development and production of QuantX Labs products. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will lead and support systems engineering activities across the product lifecycle, ensuring system functions, interfaces and performance requirements are effectively defined, delivered, verified and validated. Depending on your level of experience, you may contribute to or lead work across requirements, architecture, integration, verification and validation, technical documentation, risk management, configuration control and technical reviews.
