"Since the initial meetings we have engaged Prof Luiten’s team on one of the largest multiyear Defence-University Collaborations ever created, which is now deploying the Cryoclock technology across the JORN network. It is wonderful that 20 years of difficult fundamental science efforts have yielded such an important benefit. Andre has a strong drive to see his research demonstrated in the real world, and has since registered an incorporated company QuantX Labs, that will bring a commercial focus to developing his world-leading precision and measurement instruments."
Dr Gordon Frazer
CEO, FrazerLab Pty Ltd
I was impressed on my recent visit to QuantX Labs on 18 August 2022, and I am encouraged by recent developments to the Sapphire Clock and its progression to capability. The collaboration between QuantX Labs and Defence is an excellent example of the innovation-to-impact principals intended by the More, Together: Science Technology Strategy 2030, and the value Australian companies play in shaping capabilities for the Australian Defence Force.
The Hon Pat Conroy
MP, Minister for Defence Industry Minister for International Development and the Pacific
We applaud QuantX Labs for their exceptional ability to translate innovative concepts into practical solutions. Originating from advanced research at the University of Adelaide, QuantX Labs has successfully commercialised this technology, making it a cornerstone of Australia’s primary wide area surveillance system.
